Pink House for Ember (Prints from Commission)

This lovely two-story home in the French Quarter is bedecked with flags. The American and French fleur di lis flags stand out. Two dormer windows and a chimney grace the roof. Cast iron is used on the second floor balcony and iits gates; of course, cast iron is a typical element in many French Quarter homes. The home is protected by hurricane shutters on its second floor floor-to-ceiling windows and its first floor windows. The pink toned paint and its darker complementary pink shade accents make this house stand out.
