This simple home exudes historical New Orleans. The paint layers from who knows how many years past come through like a pages from different times. The building has stood the test of time and has seen generations develop and blossom and then hand off to new generations. The stucco chimney capped with a lantern termination stands out along with a dormer on top of the steep sloped roof. Elaborate wrought iron brackets made in the style of the New Orleans Bracket Style hold up the roof overhang. A carriage sconce complements the carriage street lamp on the sidewalk in front of the home. Hurricane doors always at the ready add another NOLA style element to the home. A rocking chair sits atop the slate sidewalk surrounding the building.
