Jax Brewery is a landmark in the French Quarter. This five-story brew house featured an elaborate ornate roof tower and smokestack, though much of it was removed in 1970. Jax Brewery featured four thick floors of solid concrete. In 1943, Jax Brewing was producing around 100,350 barrels annually.
