Southern Miss Administration Bldg. Hattiesburg Originals

Southern Miss Administration was designed by architect R.H. Hunt of Chattanooga, Tenn., and built in 1912. Aubrey Keith Lucas Administration Building, affectionately referred to as "The Dome," is named for the school's sixth president, Dr. Aubrey Keith Lucas (1975-96). With its patina top and distinctive architecture, The Dome is the focal point of the campus. Housed inside are the offices of the University's President and Vice Presidents.
