Hattiesburg High School Hattiesburg Originals

Old Hattiesburg High School building was a school from ca. 1911 to 1959. Later the school building was used as the Hattiesburg School District offices and then as an antiques store. The building was designated a Mississippi Landmark in 1986 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The Historic Hattiesburg Downtown Association took over the building in 2002. In 2007, the structure was heavily damaged by arson. In 2017, Steve Nall of Intervest purchased the building. Following extensive renovations, the building was converted into an apartment complex by 2021.
